Acceptance of these Terms

These terms govern your use of the ConverterKit website (“the site”). By accessing or using the site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may revise these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are a contract between you and the operator of ConverterKit. They describe permitted use of the site, our intellectual property, the limited nature of our warranties, and the limits of our liability. They also explain how disputes are handled.

Use of the Site

ConverterKit provides free unit conversion utilities for cooking, travel, shopping, home projects, and workshop tasks. You may use the site for lawful personal or commercial reference, subject to the restrictions below. We do not require account creation; access is provided on an as-available basis to anyone with a compatible web browser.

• Do not use the site to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.
• Do not interfere with the operation of the site, including by introducing malicious code or by overwhelming the service.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or copy bulk content at a rate that disrupts service for other users; reasonable, well-behaved automated requests for personal use are acceptable.
• Do not misrepresent results obtained from the site as professional advice in regulated domains (medical, legal, structural, financial) without independent verification.

Conversion Results and Accuracy

We aim to publish accurate conversion factors, formulas, and ingredient densities, with each tool documenting its sources where possible. Standard unit pairs use fixed factors; cooking conversions depend on the density of the selected ingredient and may carry more uncertainty. Results are provided for informational and convenience use only. You are responsible for verifying any value before acting on it in a high-stakes context, including but not limited to medical dosing, structural calculations, and regulated commerce.

Intellectual Property

The site’s design, code, copy, and imagery are owned by ConverterKit or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may use the site for personal reference and may share links to specific pages. You may not copy substantial portions of the site or republish them as a competing product without written permission. Numeric conversion factors that are scientific facts are not, in themselves, protected by copyright; the curated presentation, code, and copy on this site are.

Embeddable Tools

Some tools may be made available as embeds for use on third-party sites. Embeds are provided as is and without warranty, may be updated or removed at any time, and must retain the “Powered by” attribution included in the embed shell. Do not modify the embed in a way that obscures attribution or misrepresents the source of the tool.

Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConverterKit and its operators, contributors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Third-Party Services and Links

The site uses Google Analytics 4 for measurement and Google AdSense to display advertisements. Ad content is determined by Google and its advertising partners and does not represent an endorsement by us. The site may also link to third-party websites; those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to the Site

We may add, modify, or remove tools, features, or content at any time without notice. We may also restrict access to parts of the site or to the entire site to specific users or geographies, where reasonable.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in that state, except where applicable consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
